Course fees
If you are aged 16-18, a British or European Union resident and
looking to study at Entry Level to Level 3, your course tuition and
exam registration fees are FREE.
If you're aged 19 or over on 31 August 2013 you will normally
have to pay a fee, unless you are...
· looking to study a Level 1 qualification OR
· looking to study your first full Level 2 or 3 qualification
OR
· in receipt of certain meanstested benefits.

Aged 19+? Unemployed and seeking employment?
Then your course could be FREE!
If you receive a means-tested benefit (such as jobseekers
allowance, council tax benefit, housing benefit, income support,
working tax credit, pension credit or contribution-based employment
and support allowance) then you could be eligible to study for
free.*
* Includes SFA funded courses only. You must be 19
or over on 31 August 2013. You must produce evidence of the benefit
in your name when you enrol. Excludes all higher education
courses.
Additional costs
Depending on your chosen course, there may be costs you have to
pay in addition to any course fees, which could include money for
books, trips, equipment or specialist clothing required by your
