The Animal Centre at Shuttleworth will help you build up your confidence, as you will take part in all kinds of practical activities with a wide range of species.

The centre houses a wide range of species including birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, mammals and exotic animals. The centre provides you with an innovative learning environment whilst maintaining the highest standards of animal husbandry and welfare enabling you to gain excellent practical experience.

New developments include our purpose built humidity room and a tropical biospheres which provide specialist accommodation for our tropical rainforest species. These up-to-date facilities and environments ensure that you are able to gain specialist knowledge of modern husbandry techniques.
